Excited about a NEW and entertaining event taking place at Oktoberfest this year!
The first annual “High Forest Tennessee Masters Climbing Competition” will be held at Memorial Park on Friday, October 9th, starting at 7AM.
There, 22 qualified arborists will participate in activities ranging from speed climbing to navigating different routes in the tree canopy. The expertise, knowledge and skills of these climbers will be on display for the public, when each climber will run a 20 minute Master Challenge!
There will also be a recreational climb and a kids climbing tree available at the park, along with face painting by “Most Supreme Face Painting”. Festival goers can also see a footlock demonstration on Main Street next to the stage throughout the day on Friday.
