2020 Legacy Award Winner - Mr. Bert Moore

The Hohenwald/Lewis County Chamber of Commerce is honored to announce that the winner of the 2020 Legacy Award is Bert Moore. Receiving the award in honor of Bert is his wife, Linda Moore.

Bert Moore (1947-2020) was so important to the Lewis County community for so many years. Mr. Moore was the President of the Lewis County Bank from 1992-1996 and in 2000 became the Financial Manager at Oliver’s Technologies where he served in his role for 20 years. Other accomplishments for Bert Moore include:

• President of the Hohenwald/Lewis County Chamber of Commerce

• Advisory Board for CB&S Bank

• Lewis Health Center Board Member

• Lewis County Arts Council Board Member

• Treasurer for the Hohenwald United Methodist Church

Mr. Bert Moore has left a legacy that will be felt for generations to come and we are so thankful to have had him in our community. His impact on Lewis County and the surrounding area will never be forgotten. Thank you Linda for letting us share in the joy that was Bert Moore.
